So I'm going to London next week where they've raised the terror alert level to severe (a step below 'Bah!' but definitely above 'Meh..').
The two - me being in the UK and the terror level - are probably not related. Still, I feel a bit offended.

Overheard - In my Brain

Nah! That is not for you... it is for everyone else!
Wait until you try travelling from Ireland to the US. We have horrendous American security at Dublin Airport - On Irish soil!!! We are not allowed engage in conversation with the officials and must answer questions in words of one syllable!
Enjoy your visit. Pity I am not on the UK Mainland or I would meet up with you. :( -
