Vlog Attempt

I knew the moment you said 'baseball field' that this story would be going in an Owen Meany sort of direction. If we have learned nothing else from John Irving, have we not learned to stay away from baseball fields?

It was a good, brave first vlog attempt, and I look forward to more! I am too much of a wimp. I don't think I could ever do it.

Great vlog! I enjoyed the story, and baby Jack is too adorable. It was cool putting a voice to your picture.

Wow! Such quick responses. I'm embarrassed that I didn't have a chance to edit my last slide.. Seriously, I'm smarter than that.

But Tara - I have only read Washington Irving. I'll have to check out Owen Meany. When I typed that just now I thought of Miniver Cheevy.. Hopefully not at all similar. Thanks for the props and, hell yeah, if I can do it, you can do it!

Jen! You are such a sweetheart. I love you. And thanks! BTW, I do remember the baseball in the head incident.. and the volleyball in the head one too. We should learn not to tempt fate when things are flying towards our heads. ;)

Bonnie - Thanks! I feel like I know you since we're from the same "hood". Hopefully I'll meet you someday..

That was so neat to see. It was great seeing you and baby Jack. I love the shelf you had in the room for him. I need one of those. Oh Jen, I remember that baseball thing too.

Ginger, I am glad nothing happen to you. You are way too funny.

Jen - It was 7th grade during PE when we were playing volleyball. You and I were slowly walking to our court when someone from a game that had already started yelled, "heads up!", and you and I both looked up, instead of running for safety. It turns out you're the taller one (duh) and therefore got hit in the head.

I don't know why that stuck with me. Maybe because it was a near miss for me and I felt guilty that you got hit..(?) Maybe it was my idea to walk in that direction. Who knows.

Amy - It's a home Depot shelf. They are relatively inexpensive and you can add to them and stack them different ways. Also, you can pick the color of the bins! Fun! I like them a lot and may add to them as Jack gets bigger and we don't need other furniture (like a changing table).

I have a feeling that you and Alyce would get some good use out of them!

Elena! Thanks for thinking Jack could be in a commercial.. But hopefully he won't vomit in it. I have to admit, I'm a little creeped out by the clown one.
:)

Oh Ginger, I loved this. I love your writing, so you should keep doing that too. But every now and then you should throw in a vlog. I loved getting to see you and baby Jack. Someday I will have to meet him. He was so cute in the video. I miss you darn it!
